Prepare all ingredients by measuring the chocolate, milk, sugar, and crushing the nuts.
Peel and slice the banana into bite-size rounds and place them in a small heatproof bowl or ramekin.
In a separate small microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and milk, then microwave in short bursts until just melted, stirring until smooth.
Taste the melted chocolate and stir in sugar if desired, then pour the chocolate sauce evenly over the sliced banana.
Sprinkle crushed nuts over the top and serve immediately while the chocolate is warm.
