Finely dice the carrot and onion and mince the garlic.
Heat cooking oil and brown the ground beef for 6 minutes.
Add carrot, onion, garlic, tomato sauce, oregano, salt, and black pepper and simmer for 25 minutes.
Boil spaghetti for 10 minutes, then toss with the beef ragu.
