Heat the oven to 220°C / 425°F. Rub half of the butter into 100 g of flour, add a pinch of salt and 70 ml of milk, and mix into a soft biscuit dough.
Shape the dough into small biscuits and bake at 220°C / 425°F for 12-14 minutes until golden.
Cook the sausage and bacon in a skillet, breaking them up, for 6-7 minutes until browned.
Add the remaining flour and butter, cook for 1 minute, then gradually whisk in the remaining milk. Season generously with black pepper and simmer for 3-4 minutes until thick.
Split the biscuits and spoon the hot gravy over the top.
