Marinate chicken with yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, paprika, turmeric, cumin, chili powder, and salt for 30 minutes.
Sear chicken in vegetable oil until lightly browned, then set aside.
Saute onion in butter until soft.
Add tomato sauce and simmer 8 minutes.
Return chicken and simmer until cooked through.
Stir in cream, simmer 2 minutes, and serve.
