Prepare the ingredients by mincing the garlic and halving the cherry tomatoes.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, being careful not to let it brown.
Add the shrimp and halved cherry tomatoes to the pan, seasoning with salt and black pepper.
Cook until the shrimp are pink and opaque and the tomatoes have softened slightly.
