Prepare the vegetables by thinly slicing the onion and mincing the garlic cloves.
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-low heat until it begins to foam.
Add the sliced onions to the pan and season with salt and black pepper.
Sauté the onions, stirring occasionally, until they become translucent and very soft.
Stir in the minced garlic and dried parsley, cooking until the garlic is fragrant.
Remove from heat once the onions are lightly golden and coated in the garlic butter.
