Mix the warm water with yeast and sugar and let it stand for 5 minutes until foamy.
Add the flour, a pinch of salt, and half of the oil and knead into a soft dough. Cover and let it rise for 45 minutes.

Shape the dough into small buns, place them close together in a small baking dish, and let them rise for 15 minutes while the oven heats to 190°C / 375°F.
Bake at 190°C / 375°F for 18-20 minutes until golden.
Mix the garlic with the remaining oil and brush it over the hot buns.
