Rinse green lentils and chop onion and garlic.
Cook onion and garlic in cooking oil for 5 minutes.
Add green lentils, tomato sauce, and 300 ml water; simmer for 16 minutes.
Add orzo and 180 ml water; simmer for 9 minutes, then season with salt and black pepper.
