Boil penne for 10 minutes until tender, then drain.
Slice olives and mince onion and garlic.
Heat cooking oil and brown ground beef with onion and garlic for 7 minutes.
Add tomato sauce, olives, oregano, salt, and black pepper and simmer for 6 minutes, then toss with penne.
