Preheat the oven to 200C/400F and lightly grease a small baking dish.
Pat the tilapia fillet dry with paper towels and place it in the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika if using.
Pour the lemon butter mixture evenly over the tilapia fillet, coating it well.
Bake the tilapia for 10–12 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque in the center.
Remove from the oven, rest for 2 minutes, then garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
