Boil penne for 10 minutes until tender, then drain.
Slice olives and artichoke and mince the garlic.
Heat cooking oil and cook garlic, diced tomatoes, olives, artichoke, capers, salt, and black pepper for 7 minutes.
Toss with penne and finish with basil.
