Prepare a simple cookie crumb base in the serving cup and top it with a smooth no-bake cheesecake filling before chilling.
Crush the cookies into fine crumbs and mix them in a small bowl with the melted butter until the crumbs are evenly coated.
Spoon the buttery crumb mixture into the bottom of a serving cup and press it down firmly to form an even base, then chill the cup in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the sugar, a small pinch of salt, and the vanilla until the mixture is smooth and creamy with no lumps.
Pour in the cold heavy cream and continue beating until the filling becomes slightly thick and fluffy.
Remove the cup from the refrigerator, spoon the cheesecake filling over the chilled crumb base, and smooth the top with the back of a spoon.
Top the cheesecake cup with fresh berries or fruit compote, add a very light sprinkle of black pepper if desired, then chill until set before serving.
