Blend the oat flakes until they form a coarse flour.
Add egg, milk, salt and black pepper to the blender and blend until a smooth batter forms.
Let the batter rest so the oats hydrate.
Heat a lightly oiled frying pan and pour in the batter, spreading it evenly.
Cook the pancake covered until the bottom is set and lightly golden.
Flip the pancake and cook the other side until fully cooked.
