Cook the rice until tender and spread it out to cool slightly.
Dice the onion, mince the garlic, and season the shrimp with black pepper.
Heat half of the oil, scramble the egg for 30-60 seconds, and remove it from the pan.
Add the remaining oil and cook the onion, garlic, and shrimp for 3 minutes.
Add the rice, soy sauce, and cooked egg and fry for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
