Rinse lentils and chop onion and garlic.
Cook onion and garlic in cooking oil for 5 minutes.
Add brown lentils, tomato sauce, and 250 ml water; simmer for 16 minutes.
Boil pasta in salted water for 10 minutes, then toss with lentil sauce and black pepper.
